In one case, our firm represented a young child who was rendered a quadriplegic as a result of an automobile accident caused by a negligent driver. The case was set for trial when the insurance company agreed to settle and pay more than $11,000,000.

In another case, a young college student driving his car was injured by the negligence of a truck driver. The insurance company for the trucking company at first denied coverage and refused to pay a fair and reasonable amount for the young man’s injuries. On behalf of our client, the firm sued the trucking company and also made a bad faith claim against the insurance company. At a settlement conference, the insurance company agreed to pay $975,000.

In another case, a client was sitting in his vehicle when a tractor trailer crashed into him and severed his foot. The case was ready for trial when the insurance company agreed to settle for $1,250,000.00 as a result of the negligence of the driver of the tractor trailer.
